RESIDENTIAL RO MEMBRANE
Residential RO water filter
An effective residential RO water treatment system may include one or several RO membranes, which remove all harmful salts and impurities from the water. RO membranes for homes and offices remove 95% to 98% of dissolved chemicals and microbiological contaminants.
With a spiral structure wrapped around a perforated central tube, the treated water permeates through the membrane and moves in a reverse spiral to be collected to the outside.
Home RO membranes are capable of handling inlet solutions with TDS concentrations up to 2000 ppm. High-tech membranes are incorporated to conveniently filter drinking water on site. Some common capacities: 50 GPD (7.9 L/h), 75GPD (11.85 L/h) and 100GPD (15.8 L/h). The salt rejection of home membranes is generally quite stable from 98% upwards at standard test conditions.
